When developing the BHT-S40, DENSO WAVE focused on one thing: the user! Many applications that use a mobile computer are time-consuming, such as inventory. Speed ​​is often an additional factor: every scan job must be flawless and fast to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted process. A good scan engine is therefore essential. But even the best scanning performance in the world is useless if the device itself is heavy to hold, cumbersome, and the user even has to perform hand acrobatics to activate the scanning process.

The BHT-S40 series mobile data acquisition devices take all these aspects into account. Weighing just 260 g, the BHT-S40 is very light and allows for extended periods of fatigue-free work. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the handle, the device fits perfectly in the hand. The release buttons for activating a scanning process are also positioned on the handheld terminal so that the user can easily operate them with a natural movement and without having to contort their body.

The BHT-S40 thus becomes a natural extension of the hand.

The BHT-S40 series mobile computers are equipped with a DENSO scan engine that easily captures even the most difficult codes. Whether poorly printed, bent, or smudged codes, the BHT-S40 data acquisition devices recognize even the most challenging cases. Even reflective surfaces are no longer a problem thanks to the 40° scan angle.

High reading speed.

In a rapidly changing world where time is money, rapid data acquisition and availability is essential, both in warehouse and delivery management and in retail. It is therefore essential that mobile data acquisition devices offer high-speed read performance.
The BHT-S40 devices excel in this category thanks to their powerful scanning engine, which reads codes 30 times per second. This strength is particularly evident in warehouse management: the high scanning speed of a single code allows the user to scan multiple codes in succession in a single, fluid motion (trace scanning), instead of the usual stop-and-go scanning.
